I was awake at quarter to six this morning because of the rain! Also I didn't sleep especially well, so I'm not really surprised the rain disturbed me (it was the heaviest rain we've had in literal months).
I'm not amused though, because I walked into town for shopping yesterday, and then a quarter of the way back, and was very, very tired, so I hoped I'd sleep well. Now I am sore and tired, fun times!
Because the buses are only once an hour, I completely messed up everything timing-wise - I left the house a bit later than I meant to, which meant I got to town later. I then tried to rush the shopping, when I should've just chilled, and missed a bus home by TWO MINUTES, which meant I had to wait an hour till the next one. Which is why I tried walking home, but I got to the high school, and my feet and legs were agony, so I ended up staying there till the bus came. I did think about getting a taxi, as their services are running again, but I'm so anxious about being in confined spaces with people right now that I just decided against it.
Anyway! FINALLY managed to get bread flour! Now I can make myself some basic cake type things that require it! I barely eat or make actual bread now and given the shortage of flour of late, perhaps that's a good thing.

I checked the shipping estimates on the website I ordered my figures off, and they could take a month to get here - it depends on the size of the company they've been ordered from (Games Workshop ship the fastest because, well, they're Games Workshop, and are one of the biggest companies).
So I need to cool my jets about acrylic paints (I have a bunch of colours - I'm just missing a cool yellow and a white).
This is one of those things that makes me wish my weasel brain weren't so weasely.
Talking of weasel brains, I took so long with the youtube playlist of the FFVII Remake soundtrack I was listening to that it's been taken down, because of breach of copyright. I should've just ploughed through it to finish it, but I lost interest after hearing three slightly different versions of the same track, several times in a row. Also, weasel brain being what it is, I lost interest because that's how my weasel brain is! (I've always been like this, but I swear it feels more magnified in recent years? Or maybe it just feels like that because time is passing faster as I get older).
I mean now what I want to do, instead of finish listening to that soundtrack, is paint minis (which I don't have) and start another Buffy rewatch, because![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
ruuger has been rewatching, and it reminded me that a) I love the show, even if Joss Whedon is lamppost (which he is) and b) I never finished it last time (because weasel brain!) and I've only seen most of the episodes once since they aired.
(I mean come on, brain, I've been wanting to wean myself off youtube, what better way to do it!)

(I don't know how much of it they took out of the VOD (Luke said he would try) - but just be aware there were a bunch of technical issues including a very loud feedback loop at the start of the stream. Hopefully it's been removed because jfc it was horrible, and I wouldn't want to inflict that on anyone).
