Thanks to a proportion of the fandom being not very nice to, particularly, Matt Mercer, I've decided to pick up Critical Role again for a bit.
(A Thing happened in the game last week, and some very vocal people are saying it's all Matt's fault, and this didn't have to happen, and basically acting like entitled pieces of whatever. Except that it wasn't Matt's fault, and stuff like this happens, because dice rolls. And yes I am being vague because context requires HUGE HECKING SPOILERS, and I don't want to text cut because I'm lazy a f).
I mean, I shouldn't only watch it when or because people are being mean to the cast, but I had been thinking about it off and on anyway before this happened. I last watched back in December, and was halfway through an episode! Even more than usual I had no idea wth was going on when I picked it back up (though I was further along than I remembered. I'm now on episode 60, so yay?)
(I am 83 episodes behind. oh well).
I had thought about dropping it entirely, but it's a way for me to enjoy D&D without having to go out and play with other people (which, to be clear, I would absolutely love to do, but cannot, because of life circumstances and whatnot). So I guess I'll just be watching it till I'm ninety or something.
~
I picked up Strange Journey after not touching it for about a month, and was mightily confused as to what was going on. Luckily, it didn't take long to get back on track with it - I'm finishing off Fornax - but I have had it with floors with invisible walls.
I hope Grus is easier than this because blehhhhhhh.
