I hate it when I dream about films that don't exist. This afternoon's nap featured a Sam Neill film that ran for eight hours (I originally thought it was four, but then no, 480 minutes = eight hours). Although then again, I'm glad this one doesn't exist. It wasn't very pleasant.

And, you know, eight hour running time. Who the hell would watch/make that shit in the first place??

Just a quick heads-up to say that there are four new listings on my Etsy!

They're all embroideries/appliques, and also mostly owls.

I didn't have anything else to say because it's either self-pitying, or it's ground I've been over before and am still failing badly at comprehending.

Which is a thousand and one times better than "Oi, you" ;) (and thanks in advance, by the way).

DAII:

~ Picked up Fenris. Discovered he had the worst opportunities to be flirted with also. Nice that he and Anders share such an honour ;) Isabela, not so much. Flirted ceaselessly with her because I can and she obviously enjoys it.

STILL can't make my mind up who I want to romance properly though. Slowly going off Anders as he has started going slightly crackers (and, given that I know spoilers concerning his plot, that's an understatement).

~ Discovered gifts! Gave Merrill (who, related to the above, seems to have a crush on my Hawke, if one of her random conversations with Isabela was anything to go by) a Halla Statue, and her reaction was ADORABLE. Gave Anders a necklace of some decription, and Varric his father's signet ring.

~ Talking of Varric, never mind his being best dad to Merrill, I think he's best dad to EVERYONE. And he's totally bros for life with Hawke now (managed to max out his friendship quickly, though I don't know how).

In other news, I have updated ze store with two new scrap monsters (Blackerton and Owlton).

I will also be making a new banner soon (because that one is hella ugly, no? Also I designed a logo I'm happy with, so not only can I use it on the banner, but also make a business logo, and also business cards!)

Also, eventually, there will be a Facebook fan page for Aquarides Creations. It does exist, it's just not visible to the public as yet because I've been holding out until I had a decent logo for a banner for that. You will be able to view (and purchase? I think. Not sure how the Storenvy/Facebook app works yet) and like my products when it's active, and also, obviously, become a fan.

Finally, I got an invite to Pintrest, so I'm going to try to use that to find some interesting stuff. (My username is rootsandbones, but all that I've pinned so far is a knitted cat).

I had holiday last week. I didn't go anywhere (my friend Rachael tells me this is called a "staycation". I shuddered), but I technically didn't do any work. Which is why I spent (some of) the time making things for my nephew - there's a hat, two pairs of bootees, and a pair of mittens. And they are adorable.

I was going to take them to my bro and not-quite sister in law yesterday, except that she wasn't feeling very well, so I've still got the box sitting here next to me.

Then I curtailed my holiday by going back to making jewellery. Which I don't mind, because I am having fun. I am also designing some baby boots (I say designing, what I mean is so far I've mixed two patterns I've used, but I've had an idea for a completely different set).

(Though I will admit I get shop envy, in a way. Like, everyone else has about five items in their store, and there's me adding millions of things every time I make something, instead of making more of the same - though I have done that, which is why there's multiple badges. And the hats and scarves are one of a kind, as are the scrap monsters.

I guess I wish my store was a bit more organised? Or maybe I should find craft fairs to go to that don't cost stupid amounts for a table so I can (hopefully) get rid of some of it. Not that I don't want it, but I didn't make it all to keep).

I will have photos of my nephew's stuff up very, very soon.

Why do people make such a BIG THING out of crocheting/knitting in public?

I suppose it goes hand-in-hand with that "oh no I am a granny" attitude that's going around, too.

I won't say I haven't felt like that, I did. Over two years ago, but it didn't last too long and I GOT OVER IT. Crocheting isn't some weird thing only grandmas do. No-one says this stuff about knitting, and grandmas also - apparently - do that*. Also dude, if people make fun of you crocheting (or knitting) in public, that's their goddamn problem.

I should be saying this on tumblr, really. Maybe I will. Just not now because I am SUPER TIRED for no apparent reason.

*I wouldn't know because I don't have any :q

In related news, I'm going to shut my wordpress blog down since I haven't updated in, like, six weeks and, with everything else I have to deal with and maintain (two priorities my mum and my moods), it's just too much and too overwhelming. Added to which, I find the WP dashboard horribly complicated and it stresses me out just making a simple post.

So I'll take that down later today (back to work now!)

Just a quick note to say that at some point within the next week, I'm more than likely going to open an online shop on Storenvy. Should be easy, except that I have to reshoot most of my photos because they're awful (and now I have a display head!)

I will be sure to let you guys know when it's ready to go, though.

Also I've been making some new items that I can also photograph, so I can update here and the website too, and wheeeeeeeeee!

In other news, I got the replacement display head I'd been promised. Except I said I'd return it if an extra one turned up. So. Yeah.

Can't make up my mind if I should do that, or just ring them and offer to pay the extra even though I told them I didn't need another one *sigh*
