I have nearly finished the first in a second pair of socks! It's taken me less time than before! (I'm knitting them on 3mm circulars rather than DPNs, and I think that's what is speeding me up). I have one set of ladders to fix with a crochet hook (already done the other), and then it is done!

I've already started casting on for the second one, as we had a power cut earlier, just as it was dusk, so I couldn't see to fix the laddering on the first one. (Power came back on after an hour anyway, but man...that was a LONG hour. Though it was nice to watch the stars come out).

I have put some more things in the shop! There are heart badges (some with beads, some without, and some are bright colours!), and also a funky alien dude and a few other things.

That alien dude looks great! Sort of like a super friendly hammer shark, that's what his head shape reminds me of. I like the yarn you used for him, so that he has all those gradient colours. Very psychedelic.

Thank you! I was thinking of hammerhead sharks when I was designing him, because I always think they look so goofy :D and I'm glad that translated into the finished thing c:

Oh man, that yarn. I could have a whole stash of just that...I mean, look at all the wonderful colourways it comes in. And it's so soft, as well, so it's great to work with.
