With regard to sketchbooks: I started using one of the ones I made, so not using them didn't last very long, did it?? (I will probably default to printer paper anyway, though, because I'm basic).

ALTHOUGH. I suddenly solved a problem for myself! I really like the one notebook type I have been using as a sketchbook for five years now, except for a long time now I've wanted it as an A5 size, which they don't make (I can get A5 lined notebooks out the wazoo, though. But plain ones? NOPE).

My work friend's housemate was interested to learn about book binding, so I've been thinking of tips to tell her, and one of them was "buy a ream of printer paper and use that while you're practising". And suddenly, light dawned on me from above: I can make my own A5 blank sketchbooks! Which is, admittedly, what I've already been doing, but for some reason I didn't think of using printer paper, which is equivalent weight to the paper in the A4 books I already use!

I blame having been ill recently and not sleeping because of that dingbat earlier in the week. I think my brain's just not with it yet.
