(no subject)

I currently have a cold, so that's fun! I have also been doing overtime at work this week, which probably hasn't helped (although I don't feel exactly wiped out by the cold, but I'm definitely unwell).

I've played a lot of Mass Effect: Andromeda this week, although it's mostly all been sidequesting rather than advancing the plot (partly because I feel like we've had a certain plot point revealed too early, and I'm not ready for it). I'm mostly having fun playing it, but it's not gripping me the same way that the original trilogy did. It has done a couple of things I didn't expect, but other than that, I think I could put it down and not pick it back up way too easily.

I might have to go back and play the OG trilogy eventually because did you know it's been FIVE YEARS since I played ME3??? I KNOW, RIGHT.

I mean, why decimate the backlog I keep adding to*, when I can just replay games I've owned for almost a decade now?

*I got Diablo III and Sonic All Stars Racing from work this week. Sonic because it's Sonic** (and also a racing game) and Diablo because I've got a friend who's into and I've been whiffling about getting it for literal years now.

**Also why I got Sonic Unleashed a while back, even though it's meant to be terrible.

Anyway, I don't think I have anything else to say, so I'm going to go and get something to eat because now I am hungry.
