nah man, it's a giant iron pencil eraser

I came up with (what I think is) a really design for a headband ornament. And I would have pictures of it to post, except I've been feeling really tired for the past couple of days. I mean, dead on my feet tired. It's like a cloud/wing thing? If you've ever played Okami, it's like Amaterasu's ankle wings? Ugh, it would be so much easier if I'd put the pics on the computer. I'm sorry; I feel so useless right now.

But anyway. So I made a headband, and it looks nifty. And it's so fun to make. And then I expanded out from that, and thought of matching items that will be quick to make.

I know I was originally going to make things that were good for keeping you warm (and I won't stop making them, I just won't concentrate on them as much. But part of the other thing was jewellery (or similar sorts of things) since I have problems finding stuff I can wear, since I'm allergic to nickel. I also like things like chokers and spiky cuffs and so on. So. That's what I'm concentrating on at the moment.

I know it sounds like I can't decide, but I did have these ideas before I became self-employed, I just didn't know what would be best at the time.

(Ahahaha, wait till I tell my not!Grandma about this. Ahahahahahaha).

MUST RESIST URGE TO BUY BEADS TOMORROW.

OH, although! My supply order arrived today! I put it in on Friday, so I've been biting my nails since then (lol. I hate waiting for stuff). I got loads of felt in some wonderful bright colours (although sadly not teal; I'll have to see if I can find some tomorrow). I also got some buttons, which I'm not as impressed with, but probably only because there aren't that many, and then I got a jar of beads that were on clearance. They are sea related, and are mock-aged. There's shells, stars, seahorses, and fish (but that's not all). They're so pretty.

Yeah. This unexpectedly tired thing. I don't know why I am suddenly feeling like this. I did wonder if it was a natural carry on of unexpected weepiness the other day. Weird thing is, I don't feel depressed.

Going to try to force my sewing machine to sew felt together tomorrow (it works, but it's cheap, so it doesn't generally like thick fabrics. Serves me right, I guess!)
