where i once belonged

I went for my blood test. I'd like to say it went well, except I totally forgot that my veins are shy and thus there was a lot of rooting about in order to find it. Also it wouldn't bleed once she'd got the needle in. What's that all about?

Results when I go back to get my prescription renewed (or sacked entirely; but so far so good).

I started taking the bus to work in a morning again. Primary reason being it's getting too cold to spend twenty minutes waiting for my train. And I am a grade A wuss, as has been noted before. Also I am so fucking sick of the trains being late all the time. The journey on the bus may be a drag, but it takes exactly the same amount of time, and I always get into work on time. And I get to walk across town which, while mildly annoying, is probably really good for me vis-a-bis exercise.

I overheard a woman on the way home say, "The thing is, I don't even understand what's going on here!" and I thought, "Me either, love. Me. Either."

Talking of work (which I kind of was), we have some awful stuff in at the moment. Mostly because pretty much everything the job contains makes you want to throw up (also the job itself makes you want to headdesk repeatedly).

I am now attempting to finish Persona 3. Embarrassingly, I haven't played it for nearly eighteen months. WTF? I am shamed.

I am also a lot closer to the end of the game than I thought. On an alternate save file, I am now literally on the last day and off to waste Nyx (bet it won't happen till Sunday, provided I actually play loads tomorrow).

I love this game. Hell, I love all the Megaten games I have (working on actually picking up Nocturne/Lucifer's Call/SMT III some time soon \o/ And then maybe actually saving some money so that I can afford some Xmas presents*).

I don't have anything to say about it, because everyone is mostly "Oh crap, end of game plot." Heh.
