the aliens are coming!

I watched The Fourth Kind this afternoon. So I'm posting about it while it's still fresh in my mind (I wanted to after I finished watching, but the internet decided it didn't want to work right then *sigh*).

I watched it because the boss' wife saw it a few weekends ago, and was totally freaked out by it. There were definitely some creepy bits, and it was definitely "my" sort of film*. But I wasn't totally freaked out by it, really (although now it worries** me that since I was a child, I've had a plaque of a barn owl on my wall. Standing on a windowsill, staring inside a building, no less!)

( spoilers, I guess. Also rambling )

I'd probably watch it again, although I don't know if the creepy bits would still creep me out (though thinking about it, they might. I don't know).

I also totally thought that if they ever made a film of House of Leaves (which I hope they never do), then this is the way they should do it (partly because that's the way some of the book reads).

Also the internets have just confirmed to me that I like films that pretty much everyone else hates. Oh well, such is my life.
