(no subject)

I will be on Xmas holiday this time next week! \o/

I've got ten days off altogether (although the majority I wouldn't have been working anyway, as they would've been regular days off/when work was closed).

I'm planning to manoeuvre some stuff around in the living room, as I'm fed up of being sat in a draft all the time*, so I'm going to put my chair next to the radiator instead, and the sofa will go where my chair/side table is now. It means I'll have to sit on the sofa for gaming/watching dvds, but that's no biggie, really.

eta: I've just realised I could bring one of the bookshelves in from the hall to go behind the sofa. Oooooh. [/eta]

*I wedge the living room door open so the cat can come and go as she pleases, and the hall is drafty for whatever reasons. My armchair is right next to said door, so I get the full draft, yay.

It'll be weird being over the other side of the living room, but at least I'll be nice and toasty when the heating's on :)

I think I'm going to play Mass Effect: Andromeda after I've finished FFXII. I wasn't intending to, but I read the TVT page for it and it sounds interesting(?) and similar in some ways to that sci-fi story I started writing and never finished. I guess I'll have to play it to find out for sure, because obviously I am good at imagining things to be different than they are (fr'ex: my reading and imagining about Silent Hill 4 and what it actually plays like - they were two COMPLETELY different things).
