Bullet point time!
# I have been doing lots (for me) of overtime at work, so I have extra cash*, except I won't get it till January as we are paid in arrears :(
# I'm not going to work's Xmas meal, as it's at the same place as last year, and I wasn't really that taken with it (it was also very noisy, as restaurants tend to be, and our booking is for a Saturday, so I can imagine it will be even more noisier). And it will be the day after mum's birthday so, yeah. Not going. And also fuckery with the buses! (which is my next point)
# the local bus company, in their infinite wisdom, have decided to decimate the service on my route to one bus per hour (it used to be two), regardless of which direction you are travelling in. Luckily, after checking the revised timetables, it seems it doesn't mess my commute up too much, but yeah, once an hour, pretty much on the hour (apart from peak times when a few more will be running).
Apparently the company (or route? not sure which) is up for sale, and I think it's going to get taken over by another company who I have seen taking out training buses on the route lately. Hopefully, they will have more reasonable fares and timetables, but I guess we'll see when it happens???
# I thought I had more to say, but apparently not! So I will end this entry and go and make some dinner. Hopefully my next entry will be a bit more positive!

*I say extra, it's not really, since it will have to cover what gets taken off my Universal Credit, sighs
