(no subject)

Went to the world's most useless hospital visit with mum today. And it was a bit of a disaster, as we both had to get up at 6am, and were tired, and miserable, because it is still as hot as hell here*.

She was referred to the vascular team at the hospital over nine months ago, but her referral got lost. Anyway, long story short, that is what we went for today! And the doctor she saw said she probably just had bad circulation, and there was nothing to worry about, and they didn't need to do anything for her. Which is good news, obviously, but the hospital is an hour away by road, and the traffic's always bad. And we have to wait to be taken there and back, which is always a pain in the arse (it would be marginally easier if I could drive, but I can't, and I have no desire to learn).

Anyway, at least it was good news for once!

And we got a bonus trip over moors, twice. (I was going to take photos, but there were terrible reflections in the window I was sitting by, and also the remnants of a sticker right by where I would've put my phone. Another time, perhaps).

I am going to sleep so hard tonight.

*We have a Lidl in town, and the other day I noticed a sign on it that says welcome to Lidl on it, but I could've sworn it said welcome to hell and it would not have been inaccurate.
