OK, this is WAY too good not to share:
The Internet Archive's database of games, available to download or MORE IMPORTANTLY play in your browser! (More specifically, 2000+ MS-DOS games available to play).
There's games like Giana Sisters (I didn't even know there was a DOS port of that!), ALL SEVEN Dizzy games (as well as the non-numbered ones) (Treasure Island Dizzy is my childhood), Oregon Trail, Bust-A-Move, and the original Prince of Persia. And that's just the stuff I saw/thought about searching for last night. It's a treasure trove of gaming delights.
I just spent a couple of hours playing Bust-A-Move. I did go on to play Oregon Trail, but got distracted, ha. I can't get any sound, and I don't know how to fix that - I assume it's an emulation problem, since the game's running through DOSBOX on the internet. The FAQ doesn't have an answer.
But anyway, yeah! Go forth and play free games on the internet!
