According to the news report I saw yesterday, I've been on Tumblr for half its life span. Holy what.
(Mum was amusing as well, she said did I know Yahoo had taken Tumblr over, like it was a personal concern to me and, yeah, yeah I knew about that. Sorry, ma).
I'm not positive about it, to be honest. Geocities - I used that and now it's gone. Delicious - I used that, and now it's pants. I'm not all that fond of Flickr, to be honest. I expect Tumblr will go down the tube, but I've been scoping out alternatives for some while, because the place is so bug-ridden, and they hate missing e for no reason I can fathom, and that makes my experience there not fun.

I taught Jackie's eldest how to make friendship bracelets today. Well, I got her going on a candy stripe and then left her to it. She's a fast learner, and she wanted to learn more, but I said she had to master stripes first before I taught her anything else. Also, you know, finish the first bracelet (she did about an inch and a half before she said she was bored with it, which was pretty good going).
(I was supposed to teach all three of them, but the younger two decided to drop in on their grandmother on the way home from school and stay there. Another time, perhaps).
