(no subject)

I spent the majority of yesterday in bed. And not in a good way.

Oh no. I got the norovirus (well, it was SOME form of gastroenteritis that wasn't food poisoning). Long story short, it was gross, I felt gross, I didn't sleep much last night, and ended up still feeling gross today. (I feel better now I've caught up on sleep, and actually finally eaten something for the first time in 48 hours, but I don't feel 100% yet).

So I spent some of the time playing Fable II. I must've been ill, though, because there was a point where I just couldn't be bothered with it and...well...me and video games are...that doesn't happen often, is what I'm saying.

I like this game a lot. I won't say I love it, but I certainly like it. I like the background chatter, and the things the NPCs say to you. I love customising my character (Sparrow is currently wearing thigh high boots (because reasons) and a corset (she does have pants on, but the boots are so high she almost doesn't need them, lol). Also WOW she has a lot of scars (apparently I've died around 35 times, which does not surprise me, really. I need more cash for more potions, though. Perhaps I will make a stall holder fall in love with her? ;) )

One thing I do unequivocally love about this game, however, is the sexuality of the NPCs. They're not all straight. Some are gay, some are lesbian, and some are bisexual, which I think is great.

This is a good game. I'm glad I picked it up.
