Feelin' cranky for no particular reason (although misuse of words will never not annoy the crap out of me. I dislike this current trend of using the word "ombre" where you're talking about colours being shaded or graduated in colour).

Ahem.
I am due a surprise phone upgrade! My contract ends in about two weeks, but T-Mobile (yes, I am the only person in the UK using them) have changed the rules so you can now get an upgrade up to 30 days in advance of your contract ending. Since I am going to Burnley tomorrow to put surprise monies* into paying off an overdraft, and you can upgrade in store, I thought I might as well while I was there.
So I've just been agonising about what to get and I, uh, chose a Blackberry. I have a long standing hatred of Blackberries (because every teenager on the planet has one, etc). But it's like this, I don't want a Samsung if it's going to crash on me again. I'm sick of Nokias, and I don't want another Motorola as long as I live. I also don't want an iPhone. And so on.
Hopefully they should have it in store, and so on. So hopefully I will have a new phone as well! (I could phone ahead and check, but I'm going to risk it anyway. I can always order it online or over the phone anyway).
So that might be a thing tomorrow!
Also I baked a carrot cake this morning. It smells divine and tastes amazing. I am good at baking (I could never make a living off it, I'm too lazy. Plus I swore I'd never work in a kitchen EVER again and, ten years on, I'm doing pretty well on that promise. But anyway, it amuses me and that's what counts).
*I got some money refunded on my glasses, so I'm being sensible with it instead of going and buying ME3/FFXIII-2 and all the craft supplies I think I need. That can happen when I get the money back on my Samsung ;)
