~ My sister in law sent me some gorgeous wool. And I can actually say it's wool, as it's 92% pure. It's grey with large purple flecks, which sounds horrible (to me, anyway), but I'll have to take some photos. It's so soft.
Mum asked what make it was - Laine de Pingouin - and she said that was a very good one, so both me and my sister in law are impressed. Also I figured it must be fairly old, just by the labels (it was bought in a charity shop), so doubly impressed.
~ I am addicted to Pintrest. Apparently this happens a lot.
~ I've spent three days making cat cutouts (I'll link tomorrow when I've uploaded the pics to flickr). It is Pintrest's fault, I think. I go on there to repin crochet related stuff, and end up wanting to draw a lot and make paper cutouts.
On the other hand, it is teaching me to love my scalpel, which I've been afraid of since I bought it (I've had it seven years). I have a healthy respect for knives anyway, I don't like scalpels because they're almost too sharp? But I've learnt that if I go slow, and am careful, I'm less likely to butcher my skin. Which is good. I have enough scars as it is, and I'd like to not add to them.
~ I am thinking about deleting my photobucket because a) it's under my old user name, b) it makes my computer cry and c) I don't really use it any more, and doubt I will in conjunction with flickr (which works so much better and easier).
~ I need to go to sleep now.
