Ho hum. It's been a week, for sure. Next week better be an improvement, or there is going to be much screaming. And trust me, I can really scream when I put my mind to it.
I mean, yesterday was...heh...the icing on the cake? There was a guy supposed to be coming to check the safety of the fire and the boiler, since both of them run on gas. We'd got a letter a few weeks back, telling us it'd be yesterday between 8am and 12pm. This stuff is important - it's to check we've no gas leaks, or carbon monoxide build-ups (we do have a detector, but they still do the annual checks anyway).
So I got myself up for 8. I didn't think he'd come that early, but I guess you never know. Long story short is that he didn't come. I was knackered and annoyed (so I slept in the afternoon; he also did not turn up then, either). On the other hand, I got to watch PCNE all by myself with no complaints (I may not understand a word of Mandarin (and like I care), but there was sod all else on, and I like watching it). I saw a badly acted version of Cinderella, set in the Qing dynasty, and also a drama about an allegedly middle-aged woman looking for love (aww). The drama wasn't too bad.
And then today I've been feeling ill. So, you know, it's all fun.

In ME1 news, I did the Bring Down The Sky DLC (after completing Noveria. My gameplay is always Feros > Noveria > side quests? > Virmire). I have never done it before, and Zoe has the colonist background, so I spent most of it mentally screaming at the batarians about what complete bastards they were (I accidentally let Charn go, but he said our meeting could be solved peacefully, and I did intimidate him into leaving).
That aside, in general gameplay, I've been trying to go for the responses that feel "right" to me. Nev was pretty much my paragon run. Zoe seems to be paragade? I've found the renegade responses actually map to the response I'd find myself expecting, which is interesting. Maybe Ras won't be so much of a dick, once I actually get his playthrough underway (since he will be all renegade, all the time). But there's cases where I just can't choose the renegade response (e.g. the rachni queen, or anything regarding Kaidan (lol)). Both Wrex and Garrus respond better to renegade prompts (Garrus I knew did from Nev's run, and the way he's characterised shows him to be mostly renegade anyway, but Wrex I wasn't sure about, and now I think about it, it COMPLETELY makes sense).
I also flipped the Mako again on Asteroid X57. I am SO PROUD.
Oh, and I managed to trigger the Kaidan thinks I fancy Liara (and vice versa) and I'm not quite sure how. I put them both straight though.

Um. Probably time to catch some sleepin's, right? Right.
