I called the guy up and offered to pay for the other display head, so now I have two. They're supposed to be unisex, but on their own, they look like very pretty boys. Head #1 still looks masculine since I put a scarf on him (it suits him!), but head #2 now looks kind of feminine because I draped a piece of pink braid across its head.
So I suppose they really do live up to the description.
Head #2 is currently sitting on top of The Quotable Sandman on my desk. It's not workable, but it'll do, since I'm not actually using the desk right now as I don't have a chair to use at it yet. (I've nearly bought a kneeling seat twice now, since it was ridiculously cheap, but I didn't have the spare cash to hand and, not having a car, I would've had to lug it on the bus and then from bus stop to home. Also I like leaning back, which I wouldn't be able to do with that - although it would improve my posture).

One of my mum's friends gave her some lace and ribbons a few years ago, and I've been raiding the ribbons and braids for stuff to use. But there's a LOT of lace. I said if I made Gothic Lolita stuff, we'd be quids in - but I don't, so we're not. Mum then asked what Gothic Lolita was, so I explained, although not well. Even Wikipedia didn't really help; mum kind of just went, "Oh."
Ah well. I've never been a big fan of it as a style myself anyway (not being into frills and lace), and I've never had enough style to pull it off, even if I did like that kind of thing.
Then my bro turned up with two balls of yarn from my not-sister-in-law ("She saw these and thought you'd like them. Are they OK?" My brain: ARE THEY OK?! THIS IS YARN I'VE BEEN COVETING!) I told him to give her a big hug from me since it was such a wonderful present.
...And now I am dead tired, but all I want to do is go to my room and sew (I feel like I did not work enough today due to nurse visit and then having to cook for my bro). I must do some photography tomorrow - I feel like I'm really slacking in the internet department (again, see: the way my brain works. It doesn't "see" that as work. WTF).
I should end this entry, since I don't really have much to say. But yeah. Photos soon, I promise. I need to ask you guys your opinion on stuff!
