have a banana

I spent close on five hours shifting stuff about in my room. I did have a reason, though! I've been hoarding books I don't actually want any longer - mostly young adult books, and some kids' books.

Now they're in the bathroom. They're going into storage underneath the stairs. There's also a handful of videos, two purses, and an image maker CD (who knows where the hell that came from). And then they will wait until someone with a car can take them to a charity shop (or, y'know, I remember to take a bag or two with me next time I go into town).

I am sore, as a result, and there's still a little bit of stuff on my bed (I ended up chucking a lot of it on the floor to sort out tomorrow. And there's the added hilarity of the MASSIVE* magazine pile to sort out. Added hilarity, as they're in front of my clothes drawers and thus, I cannot get into them. See these clothes I'm wearing today? Stuck in them till I get rid of those magazines**).

I've doubled the amount of floor space in my room - still not tons, but I'll live. And when I get the studio that is yet to be is finished, I'll triple it. Maybe then I can paint on the floor again!

Also I am so tired that maybe this will cure my current bout of insomnia. Maybe.

I rescued a bee earlier today! It had flown into a spider's web. I'd got my keys out to unlock the door, so I put one of my keyrings gently underneath the bee, and lifted it off. It hadn't got very tangled, luckily, and flew away - hopefully - none the wiser.

(No way was I going after it with fingers because a) it would've stung me and that wouldn't have been fun for either of us and b) fuck knows where the owner of the web was *shudder*)
