I am currently re-reading Elidor by Alan Garner. I hope it's as good as I remember. Then I'm onto The Weirdstone of Brisingamen and The Owl Service. \o/
I'm not even going to bother talking about the last book I read, which was a load of dross, and pretty badly written (nearly made Stephenie Meyer and Laurell K. Hamilton look competent! Seriously, I would've taken either of those over this pile of fail. Hell, I think I might even have taken the book about the not!zombies over this one. Oy vey).

I am also currently designing my own doll. It's going well; so far there is a head and a body, with two legs on the bottom. It has nothing to do with the doll parts I was on about in my last entry. Well, OK, it does, in that I got fed up of the pattern I was following and decided to design my own. Photos coming when I can get off my lazy arse long enough to mess about in Photoshop.
I am having great amounts of fun doing this - I think I work better when I'm making shit up than when I'm yarnbending to a pattern (I should know this by now - I generally don't follow the rules for, well, anything. I think I horrified the tutors at college with that).
So, um, big photo post coming soon-ish?
(PS got an idea or two for clothing for the doll(s), but, uh, I need to finish a decent one first, and I might make something else in between this and the next prototype. I don't know).
