Well, in the end, Angie bought me two hanks of recycled Sari silk yarn (which is so gorgeous, but atrocious to wind into balls). I weighed the one I'd balled, and it was about six ounces, which I reckon was a good deal! I shall tell Angie so next time I see her.
I don't know what I'm going to make with it. Mum said it would make good scarves, but I don't know yet. I want to be sure, because it will a nightmare to rip back if I am unsure once I've started making it.
I will definitely take some photos (and make good use of that macro setting to show off the colours). And then I will try to remember to upload them!
I also got two balls of some expensive yarn which comes in a pretty colourway and I've been drooling over for a few months now.

Totally addicted to tumblr again, although not really looking at the tumblogs of anyone I follow. Whoops. (Also, sorry guys!)

ETA: oh yeah, also, because I asked at the library if they had Inception, I totally had what my brain thought it ought to be about dream last night (sorry if that didn't make much sense). It mostly involved running down impossible hills with dense forests on them, and hiding out in a small cabin until we'd figured out what to do next. Sadly, that doesn't even really explain what happened.
Somehow, I know the film will not be anything like this.
