(no subject)

I've kind of hit a wall in Mass Effect. The geth are doing my head (mainly because they're capable of...not one-shotting me, but certainly wiping me out fast-ish if I'm not careful). Maybe I should take a break to survey every surveyable planet I've got access to and see what other exciting things I can find! (WTF are Protean Data Discs? You find them, but I don't know as there's any way to see exactly what they are. I imagine they're large CDs? Laser discs? *snerk*)

Also there is no Let's Play ME on the Let's Play Archive, and that is distressing. I thought there might be lulz to be had (not that I ain't already having lulz. I actually need to redraw some of these dopey sketches I am doing).

I'm thinking I might restart, actually (although a new save file, and keep this one for...something? IDEK). Not because I really think I messed up (I'd still make the same choices and so on) but because I know I chose the wrong job class for a first playthrough (should've just gone with soldier, but nooooooo, I had to choose sentinel, didn't I?) I also might pick a different name for my Shepard so she's not accidentally named after her voice actress, lol.

Yeah, thinking that might be a good idea. And spend longer during character creation so she doesn't look like she has a permanent trout pout (she's keeping the hair and the scar and the SUPER BRIGHT GREEN eyes*). And she's still being sassy and ass-kicky and so on. And then one day I will get on to male!Shep. ONE DAY.

(And I will stay far, far away from Thresher Maws. Those things are scary).

*I'm playing on my teevee upstairs, and it's not widescreen nor hi-def, so SUPER BRIGHT GREEN was the only eye colour I could see properly. Yeeeeeeeeeeahhhhh.
