i love you for your silence

Two things regarding that crush I had way back when I was much younger and impressionable:

Thing the first -

Boss' Wife: Show me a nice bloke and then maybe I'll believe you.
Me: I'd show you a nice bloke if I knew where he lived.
BW: *laughing*
Me: No, seriously. I wasn't saying that to be funny. I really would, but I don't know where he lives now. And he seriously is a nice fella.
BW: So why didn't you snag him then?
Me: Because he was married at the time.
BW: So why didn't you lure him away from his wife?
Me: I was 12!

Thing the second -

The last couple of mornings I've been catching a stupidly early train. There was a guy I saw yesterday and this morning who, if he isn't said ex-crush, looks very like him. I didn't notice him until I'd already spent a couple of days thinking about the ex-crush, and yet he always gets off at the same station as me, and must have done on all the other days I was in at stupid o'clock.

I don't have to be in at stupid o'clock any more, but I am more than half tempted to keep catching that train till we break for Xmas. Because I am more curious than anything, I think (good job I'm not a cat, eh?) Trouble is, because I haven't seen him in nearly twenty years(!), I know I wouldn't recognise him unless he said, "Oh yeah, by the way, I'm [name]".

I mean, this is just weird coincidence, right? Yeah. That's totally what it is.
