Stuff I have discovered today:
~ I tried restarting Okami and then got reeeeeeally bored of it (which is stupid, because awesome game is awesome). I think it's just because I'm so tired right now. On the other hand, I've already accumulated some demon horns, which I didn't last time until too late on.
~ Talking of white wolves with mad brush skillz, I learnt, to my horror, that Okamiden will not be released in Europe until March 2011. UGH. (Guess I'll have time to save up for it? ;) )
~ This...collage-y thing...I like making lots of layers, letting it dry, and then stripping loose bits off. It's kind of like picking scabs. Also it looks cool and distressed. I will have to take photos (I know I keep saying this, but I really will. And then I will have to remember to transfer them to the PC).

Stuff I have done today:
~ Went to the doctor, and he's given me a short course of sleeping tablets. Fingers crossed that will work.
~ Finally bought a new pair of shoes (and made my credit card cry ;) ). They're like cut-price Docs in style, but with a zip up the side and a buckle that does nothing. They're also lined with some warm stuff and in short, they are awesome.
~ Bought some of the softest yarn ever (damnit, I dislike that word, but it sure as hell ain't wool), which ate up all my change (I literally have less than 10p in coppers in my purse). I know I don't actually talk about yarn-bending (because there's a bit of me that is still secretly ashamed by it, even though I shouldn't be), but I really actually enjoy it. Also I am addicted to buying wool in the same way as I am paper and art supplies* (although I get more horrified about how expensive wool seems to be. Also I cannot compute how much I can make into whatever from 100g ball so I either end with too much or not enough).
*I nobly resisted buying a set of four canvases today. They were reduced by a few quid because they were slightly torn (and therefore ideal for collaging on), but they were also huge and would've been awkward to carry (one of the few times I rue not having a car - they were also in the first place I visited, so then I would've been carting them all round town). However, I didn't buy them, because the rarely listened to part of my brain said, "How about you use some of the stuff you have already?" and I said OK then.
(I have canvases, boards, and even random pieces of wood and MDF, and they are doing nothing but taking up space on the floor while waiting to be used).

Drama with the water is now fixed. Hurrah!
