I started watching Three Rivers last night. Let me state for the record that:
a) I'm only watching it because it will be the only other thing I've seen Daniel Henney in besides the Wolverine film
and b) I made this massive rant about it which only didn't grace the intertubes because mine was down last night. But it boils down to:
I honestly can see why it got cancelled. There is some terrible acting going on (although admittedly it improved a bit in the second ep. But only a bit). And no, I cannot do better, which is why
justakiko acts and I don't. Also seriously, it's a good job I don't get motion sickness, because the cameras are all over the fucking place.
The second episode is better than the first, although both of them feel like versions of the same story with slight variations. Also the second one makes a better pilot than the first, as it introduces characters and elements and shit (and the hospital of the future!) much more efficiently than the first one did.
It is not the worst thing I've ever watched* but it's far from the best (I did actually wonder if I was being too harsh because I've just finished watching the most awesome thing that ever awesomed**, but I don't think I am).

In other news, I woke up feeling awesome and then had an equally awesome day at work.
Although being awesome is tiring, so probably an early night tonight *sigh*.

*I do not honestly know what show I would give that honour to. Apart from maybe the dross soaps my mum watches. But that I've chosen to watch? *shrugs* Nothing on a par with this off the top of my head.
**That would be Avatar, obviously. I am three eps from the end of S1 again and afraid to watch them because there will be sniffles.
