a very merry unbirthday to you

So it is my birthday today. I am happy, and full of Hong Kong style sweet and sour pork (I love our local Chinese. However, I did not love the walk to and from it since it's icy and I am a wuss).

I have had minimal presents (a pair of scarab earrings from mum, and money from my bro and not sister in law), but I don't care. I couldn't think of anything, so it's my own fault (well, I said FFXIII-2, but I am NOT prepared to outlay £37 on a game (or for anyone else to do likewise). And I consistently wobble about the other Xbox games I want, so...yeah). Goddamnit, I couldn't even think of a book I wanted. I fail.

ANYWAY. I spent the day finishing off my replay of FFXIII. I aimed to get to at least The Fifth Ark. As it stands, I am still on the Palamecia (I could've got there if I'd literally spent all day on the Xbox, but I can't do that. I also would've got there if I hadn't spent some time running around in circles grinding for CP. I'm still not fond of grinding, but I'm having a fucking BALL at the moment. I don't know what I'm doing differently this time, but it feels so much easier (possibly because I'm loading CP in the character's "preferred" jobs first this time?)

I suppose I could play my ass off tonight, but that's not going to be conducive to me getting up at a reasonable time tomorrow morning, is it now?)

I said I'd sorted pics for a spam, so here they are. From a folder wittily entitled "Grand Spam Auto" (because I am clever. And witty, you see).

Oh-kay-then. (It's been so long since I played this, that I can't even remember what he's talking about).

An app on my phone made my work look awesome. Also does this now make me a hipster with pseudo-Instagram?

They may be plastic, but I love them (I just wish I could think of a decent use for them!)

This was taken a year ago, and it was bloody cold!

Mah kitty and mah strategy guide for FFXIII (obviously). Nice to see she left the best part of Lightning uncovered ;)

This was the view from the smoking spot at my previous work place. I was going to make it into a Xmas card last year and then...I didn't.

Look at all that Farscape! (Only missing 3.5. Still).

Huh. That so. How come I'm carrying seven of them, then?

Nice to see that the fake one's as much of a idiot as the real one.

Oh-kay-then. Although I have to admit that one of the reasons I love the Crystal Chronicles games is that they're full of amusing little lines like this.

First time I played Mass Effect, I flipped the Mako. I am led to believe this is some kind of achievement that can never be repeated. I haven't often tried much, but it's funny that it doesn't flip when it should.

Also please note that I have my bros on board with me. I left my space boyfriend at home.

My most recent commission c:

A badge to sell on the interwebs!

Meant to upload these to dA before I left, but I never did, and then kept forgetting about them. Ah well. Tree is at old workplace in autumn, and the chimney's the view from my bus stop on a winter's morning.

What my hair looks like at the moment. Well, it's grown out a little now, but yeah. Dang, pretty sure this is the haircut I've been after all my life.

The Range is patronising.jpg. You know, just because there are women that make art, doesn't mean they need pink equipment. You don't make a range of them in blue for the menfolks, do you?

Feels like a generic anime character.jpg

Niiiiiiiiice. At least it doesn't follow that with "For some reason, Serph is happy".

Crochet is SRS BSNS, y'all.

This is a hat I made for a secret santa exchange. I feel it is ugly because I don't really like the colour mixture (I got it in a job lot). This is it not quite finished (forgot to take a pic of the finished thing - it had a long plaited tassle thing with some beads on to make a noisy noise).

And we're done. For now.
