the white knight is talking backwards
I've spent the last few days doing some embroideries again, which is nice because it's something I can do while watching streams (for example) that doesn't take up too much room. Not that my weaving loom is massive, but that requires the cat to not be on my lap and Jazz is a massive cuddlebutt. (I could shoo her off, but then I'd feel mean).
I've been taking inspo from the DIY videos I've been watching, and seeing what happens. Which isn't much right away now, but I'm working on it.

I shamelessly stole this video game meme from
sideways, and have been waiting till I finished the Squeenix meme to answer it.
1) Favourite game of all time:
Final Fantasy XII!
2) Favourite series:
Hmm, I mean, I keep coming back to the Final Fantasies, because I do love them so (and have played so many, and own so many), but I think my favourite series actually has to be Mass Effect. It just has the right sci-fi aesthetic for me and, although it's a shooter, I do enjoy playing it, and I LOVE the soundtrack (again, the right aesthetic, and very reminiscent of Vangelis in parts).
3) Best soundtrack:
UGH THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD ONES, DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!
This is like picking my favourite child, how dare you.
But if I had to: FFXII; ME1; FFVII; Persona 2: Innocent Sin (og version). But that is obviously not all of them!
4) Favourite protagonist:
Harry Mason!
I mean also: very hard choice, but Harry was the first one that sprung to mind. But like, also: Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Lightning, Cloud Strife, Neku Sakuraba, etc etc. We could be here all day.
5) Favourite villain:
Albert Wesker! I'm not even going to attempt to explain that, nor do I see why I should!
6) Best story:
The World Ends With You! Just for Neku's character arc, it's SO GOOD.
7) Have not played but want to:
We don't have all day, and I have a long list.
8) Game you love, but everyone hates:
Final Fantasy XIII. Or even XIII-2, although I don't see as much whining about that as its predecessor.
9) Game you hate but everyone loves:
LOL almost anything Soulsborne? ;) Especially DS1. I fail to see how that's a good time for anyone. But that's where me and some other people diverge, I guess.
10) Best art style:
Ooof. A tie between FFXII and Mass Effect, perhaps?
11) Favourite ending:
I wouldn't say it was my favourite, but the ending of Nier is definitely still sticking around and stomping all over me.
12) Favourite boss fight:
...I hate boss fights, and there's rarely, if ever, been one where I've been like, "ooh yes, that was good!"
Although I am fond of the one in the FFX where you fight Sin while you're on the boat near the beginning, but that's more because of the music than the actual fight (though the target switching is an interesting touch).
13) Childhood game:
Great Giana Sisters! Which is weird, given my inability to play platformers!
14) Relaxing game:
Anything that is a matching puzzle, but especially any Mahjong variant.
15) Stressful game:
Anything involving stealth! This is why I don't play Hitmans, y'all!
16) Game you always come back to:
Final Fantasy XII, as if we didn't know I was going to say that.
17) Guilty pleasure:
No such thing as a guilty pleasure! You either enjoy playing the game or you don't!
18) Tons of hours played:
*looks over at my collected FFXII playthroughs*
For reference: the base game can be completed in around fifty hours. I know I have one save file for the PS2 that is close to 100 hours, if not over it. As I said in the previous entry, I'm probably on my tenth PT of the game which means, by the time I finish, I will have spent AT LEAST 550 hours playing this game.

I agree about Soulsborne as well... I love the concept, but they're just so punishing to play, and I speak as someone that loves stuff like DMC. I don't mind hard, but the whole slow, methodical gameplay you need for it... Nah, I'm good.

Exactly. How that is a good time is beyond me. Games shouldn't be a punishment.
