I have made bread rolls with plain flour - the dough turned out a bit stiff, but they cooked okay and are edible! I think next time I might add a bit more water, just so the dough is easier to manipulate.
I also made scones, and it's been so long since I last made any that I legit forgot how easy they are (and how quickly they cook!)
Went shopping again yesterday, and walked into town, and have been regretting it since, because ow sore muscles. On the other hand, it was that or wait forty minutes for the next bus, so it kind of made sense. Plus I got to properly look at all the cherry blossoms on the way, and that was lovely.
I've been reading the sewing subreddit lately, and missing my sewing machine - which is with my brother and sister in law, so I obviously can't really ask for it back. I don't know how much I'd actually use it, but I've been wanting to sew some stuff for years now and, while I could totally hand sew them, it's just quicker with a sewing machine. Talking of which, I am making myself a face mask, following some instructions one of my friends posted. I don't really want to wear one when I'm out, as I don't like things over my face, but if it even stops one person getting ill because I'm asymptomatic, I'll do it.
Other than that, I've been working on a cross stitch of a galleon - it's only three colours and it is delightfully easy compared to the last one I did (which - if I didn't mention it - was a camellia that was loads of colours and fractional stitches and AAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH).
I've also been sorting through more stuff in mum's room. It's getting to the point where I have loads of things I want to get rid of, but obviously can't, so they're taking up space and it's mildly annoying. But it'll get sorted in time.
