Still playing Lightning Returns, and now into a new game plus, because whoops I ran out of days.

I have beaten every boss so far, up to Caius, but I found a strategy to cheese that fight because OMFG he really IS a cheating bastard. One day I might go back and do it "properly", but for now cheesing will suffice. I think I have Grendel left of the main bosses.

In the Wildlands, I accidentally tried the Chocobo Eater fight and I almost beat it. Which was pleasing. I think that's going to need an actual strategy, which will probably include a butt-ton of defence and lots of healing items.

That said, today I was dicking about in the Dead Dunes (actually doing the main quest but mostly getting lost), and I accidentally killed an Earth Eater???? I mean, that is what I mean to do, but I got into a fight with it by accident, and then won and ???? (for record: the last time I tried, I got pasted. But that was a game and several handfuls of upgrades ago, so no surprise I won, I guess).

I dreamt about the zombie apocalypse the other night. That was not fun.

He cheats SO MUCH I JUST WANT TO KICK HIM IN THE BALLS AND HAVE DONE WITH IT.

The first time, I expected to lose, because I had no heals and 2 EP, and I knew that wouldn't do it. I know I said Snow was spammy with his attacks, but he is nothing compared to Caius. I found a solution (as noted) whereby you have to catch him in between spams and not let up otherwise you've had it. I messed up the first time, but nailed him the second (though had I not decided to overclock+army of one, which luckily knocked off the last of his HP, I'd probably have died again).

I don't know how the fourth boss will be. I hope it's easier (the final boss is apparently weak versus poison? so I'm going to exploit that if true).
