In other news, I just finished watching Super 8. It made me a bit weepy, although I think some of that is down to early PMT. I thought it was OK. Things blew up! Dads were horrible! JJ Abrams' writing was full of stuff I recognised from Lost! (What I mean by that is that, as a writer, he has lots of things he likes narrative-wise, and does not hesitate to use them at every opportunity. Also the train crash was very similar to the wrecked plane descending on the Island in Lost. Put the two side by side and there'd not be a lot different, except for the vehicle involved).
Um. Yeah. So it was OK. Can't decide if I want to buy the DVD or not right now.
(On a related note, why do I not have an icon that says "An alien did it" or likewise because...well, I watch a lot of stuff about aliens).
