I am now through to Act II of Dragon Age (well, I think I am. I'm having terrible trouble parsing where they happen. I can keep hold of the time skips fine. In the second bunch of three now - so the seventh year in Kirkwall).

I told Anders where to stick it after he ninja-kissed me (because obviously this game is all about the romance, yes?) Haven't really done anything else with Isabela and Fenris just won't talk to me! PAH.

Last night when I was playing, Hawke's mum got kidnapped (which I knew was going to happen) and killed (which I ALSO knew was going to happen). I got really teary, though. Ditto when I met Bethany (she was SO mad at me! I didn't know she'd end up a freaking Grey Warden! I didn't do it on purpose! I like her costume, though).

I also wasted the Arishock earlier (and then napped! it was GREAT!) I was actually surprised when I found out that you kill him partway through the game, because I could've sworn he'd be around for the entire game (then again, I thought Flemeth was the Big Bad). It doesn't help that that pic of him on the back of the game case kind of says that to you (it does to me, anyway).

He killed me the first time because I chose the wrong response and ended up fighting him alone and UNGH. Also I was not giving Isabela over to him, even if she did steal that bloody book.

(Look, my perfect solution would be that all the mages, elves, and Qunari live in peace. Fuck those templars, though, they're asses).

Think I might spend tomorrow making an amineko because they are awesome c: Also I have a surprise planned for a friend (not saying what it is because said friend is on my flist and is probably reading this right now) and, actually, I have to wrap a bracelet so I can send it on Monday because I sold one! :DDD

Now if only my logo CG'ing had gone better, I would've had a fantastic day instead of a merely pleasant one (though pleasant is good. Much of an improvement on horrible, or downright awful).

I had the same time with the Arishock. Literally ran around the whole time. I was like 'HEAL HEAL RUN RUN RUN.. attack [REPEAT STEPS 1-6]" It took FOREVER. but I killed him lol.

Probably the only part of the game I actually was like 'ffs! just die!'.

I know, and he has that sodding charge attack that the Ogres have (for obvious reasons), but I forgot because less of this game is spent fighting Darkspawn (again, obvious reasons). Also I was almost out of health potions, and I haven't spent much cash on them because I cart Anders around everywhere (probably another reason Fenris hates me ¬_¬ ) I don't think I even landed the killing blow on him? I went after the mage and some other dudes.

I think that's definitely the most frustrating part of the game.
