you both made such a little go a very long way
Between them, my mum and my brother woke me up this morning (although not intentionally, and not at ridiculous AM, either). So I got up and I started colouring the Yume Nikki picture I uploaded to my sketchblog last night.
I actually got most of it done between then and a session in the afternoon, but started getting bored of it, so went to do something else. Which was doodling a couple of characters I made up from nowhere yesterday. The entire idea was to make up a character I could just use in pictures of whatever, doing whatever, whenever (a bit like the idea behind Stanley Lau's Pepper character).
Except because my luck is my luck is my luck, I ended up with two. So we have a guy and a girl, and she might be an alien, and he's never happy (he is also of the opinion that Everything You Know Is Wrong). Together they Fight Crime! (maybe; could be they're the cause of it).
I spent about an hour or so, just drawing her, so I could get a feel for her, and then the same for him. Except I didn't have a full hour, so I'm going to spend a bit more time on him tomorrow. And then I'm just going to draw and draw and draw, and see where the hell it gets me.
I'm also amused because they have exactly the same hair cut, but hers is longer than his (obviously).
