All I'm going to say about the election is thank fuck the Tories are gone. I am pleased Labour won, but also I'm not for reasons I'm not going into, and all I'll say is this is the most conflicted I've felt about a Labour win in my entire adult existence.

Work has continued to be abso-fucking-lutely wild. I got called in early on Friday, but I couldn't get in as early as I was asked to because I had a job centre appointment*, and then Saturday was really awful. Weekends are busiest because most people don't work then, but for whatever reason, yesterday was really bad. And the shifts had been scheduled weirdly (i.e. differently to usual) so I dunno what was up with that.

I hope today is an improvement for everyone concerned.

Also talking of work, and further to that whole thing I had about not knowing if the people I work with like me, two of them practically begged me to add them on twitter the other day, so I did, and now one of them sends me memes and Relatable Shit™ via DMs. And the other one, after having left work, saw me walking to the bus station, yelled at me to get my attention, and then we walked from one side of town to the other (via the bus station) and chatted about shit, and it was cool.

So I shouldn't flipping worry about whether anyone likes me, because obviously they do!!

*I had to go in because I'm not earning enough per month, which is a thing that happens (sighs). I'm slightly annoyed about it, as I've now been asked to look for more work/another job. I'm going to get my hours increased at this one, though, so hopefully the job centre will then leave me t f alone.

In addition to my impulse purchase of a Fitbit, I impulse bought some Rocket Dog trainers, as they were on sale for half price. These are now the most expensive pair of trainers I've bought, so I expect them to last me a decent amount of time.

(My Skechers are still functional, but the grips are worn flat where I put the weight on my feet, so they're not really wearable any more, which is a shame, but oh well).

I've worn them to work the last two days, and they are comfy and they fit nicely, so I'm happy.

I've got nothing else for the time being; I'm currently too tired to be doing anything remotely exciting (booo).
