Yesterday I - well, I won't say watched, because I didn't, much - I had Aoife on in the background while I did art and she streamed some spoiler-free Elden Ring gameplay!

I could've been watching Luke on Outside Xtra, but one thing I've noticed is that EG streams have a significantly lower viewer count than Oxtra ones, so I thought I'd give Aoife the support by having it on in the background.

(The art I was doing was reworking the design on the right in this post so that I can sell prints of it and upload it to Redbubble so it can be on Stuff™. Also I want to draw more stuff like this in the future, because I really like it!)

Here is a thing. I don't know why I keep watching Soulsborne/From Soft stuff because at this point, I know I don't enjoy it. I never finished watching Ian playing Sekiro (I got bored, sorry Ian, not your fault), so I don't know if he ever actually finished it or not. And I knew I wasn't enamoured of Elden Ring already, so ?????

THAT SAID. I do like Demon's Souls, though I don't know why, because it's...the same as everything else. And Johnny is currently occasionally playing DS1 with a flight stick, which is at times hilarious (please enjoy this encounter with Havel, and keep watching for a little bit till they get back to the Undead Burg). (~~I timestamped that, so hopefully the link isn't borked; I've never done a timestamp before~~ I checked it, it's okay!) But other than that? I really don't know! It's like I like doing my own head in on purpose.

(It does occur to me that maybe I'm watching more for the players than the game being played? IDK).

Huh, I always thought that Eurogamer was more popular than Oxtra... Is it because of Oxtra's D&D stuff, do you think? I'll be watching both streams though! I can't play Soulsborne games, but I do enjoy watching them! :)

That's what I thought, too, especially since EG has been around longer! And I suppose EG don't focus on one particular system, which is a possibility as to why they have less subscribers/viewers. I don't mind watching stuff for systems I don't own, but I know not everyone is like that (I mean, I am subbed to both Oxbox channels and the only xbox console I have is the 360...)

As I am typing this, Aoife and Ian are finishing up a co-op stream in Elden Ring, so you will also have that to watch! Hope you enjoy yesterday's streams!

I'm the same, actually - I've moved back to Sony/Nintendo pretty hard, but they're just so entertaining to watch! Although I can't say I actually watch their D&D content. I'm happy to watch Ellen and Luke pull apart Pokemon magazine, and yet the actual original content...? XD

That's exactly it! You can tell how well they all get on with each other, that they've known each other forever, and that they're really genuine about doing what they do.

I like the D&D (I prefer the way they play to uh, other, more internet famous D&D players, let's say), but I infinitely prefer the other stuff that I started watching them for. And I LOVE the Pokemon magazine shows! (I mean, I love it all, but as a new thing they've started doing? FINE BY ME).
