Still fighting myself not to buy a miniature to paint. I looked up griffons yesterday, and discovered unicorn minis exist (because of course they do).
Okay, I caved and bought a unicorn and a set of two female elf sorcerers (there's a legit reason for this, believe it or not. Well, there is for the female elf, not so much for the unicorn). You never know, they might arrive in time for the next Dicebreaker paint stream!
I've not bought paints as I have some acrylics already because that used to be My Thing™ and I don't need to buy a set of paints for something I might never do again. I am going to have to buy a spray paint for a primer, though, and probably a matt varnish. But my figures are not here, yet, so that is a moot point (apparently you can paint on primer, but you'd probably need something like gesso, and I don't have any of that any more).
I'm kind of looking forward to this, but I'm also kind of nervous.
