I am extremely tempted to buy DA:I and Skyrim for the PS4, just so I can do screencaps of the pretty landscapes (it's what I've been doing in FFXII and ME:A; I don't see why I shouldn't continue this).
I've been thinking about getting DA:I again anyway, since it would be nice to play all the DLC and, IDK, get final closure on the story. Also it's been a couple of years since I played through it - it'd be good to do that again, and especially to compare another Bioware game made using the Frostbite Engine to ME:A (like, I'm sure DA:I was better done in some ways, although my overriding memory is of everything looking like there'd just been a recent rainstorm in the area, which is no help at all).
And, as for Skyrim, welp. I do enjoy it, and the scenery is awesome and everything, but I also think I'd have trouble playing it and listening to the soundtrack after finding out the composer is a colossal dick (which is being nice about it). THAT SAID, I can switch the music off or turn it right down, and listen to something else instead. It won't be the same, but eh. I think I will cope.
Talking of ME:A, I spent most of yesterday driving around on Eos, and by the time I was done, I had got the planet to 92% viability, which I was very pleased with. I don't know which are the other habitable planets, but I'd like to be able to do the same for them. I'm sad you can't go back to Habitat 7, because I would've liked to make a colony there.
As far as main plot goes, I have all my squad members, and have rescued one of the angara for them (I thought I'd messed up at first because I picked somewhere else to go before rescuing them, but no, it was okay! phew).
I don't like most of my crew, and it's not because I'm comparing them to the Normandy's crew, because I'm not. Although I do wish they weren't (mostly) the same species, because that doesn't help!
I don't really have anything else much to say about it since I don't think I'm that far into the plot. Play time estimates are about the same as the original trilogy, so about 30 hours, but I know at least four of mine so far were spent on Eos doing non-plot stuff (I've logged around 14 hours or so so far).
I will probably play some more when I get in from work tonight (still sidequesting, this time on Voeld).

With them both being EA games (technically), they'll probably also want you to register for an EA Origin account, unless you have one already.

I just could not get into Andromeda and ended up putting it down, which sucks. I intend to go back to it... eventually. Like, it was pretty fun to play, and I liked a lot of the concepts, but it just didn't hold me. I remember liking Vetra and Jaal, with Cora being okay, but that was about it. *shrug*

I'm kind of ambivalent about Andromeda - it's certainly not grabbing me like the original trilogy did, but I do want to see where the story goes. But yeah, I think I could easily put it down and then forget to go back to it at all.
