Random stuff in no order:

~ It is less than a month till my birthday, when I will be 30. I am not particularly bothered.

~ I went to a funeral on Thursday. It was very nice, and there were less people there than I expected.

~ Decided that Ivalice is eating my brain again, and am continuing with the FFXII replay. I beat the Elder Wyrm in less gos than expected. I keep forgetting to run across to the other side of the area when the combat log tells you that it's readying Sporefall. D'OH!

~ I really really want to play FFXIII, but have neither the game nor the console on which to play it. I blame this solely on Fang, because she is hot and uses a lance. Also her summon is Bahamut. It's like Squeenix read my brain or something. (All I need is around £200 to fix this. Sadly that would mean being horribly in debt for about three months in a row, and we don't want that, do we?)

~ I'm trying to do a Final Fantasy meme with lots of questions, and it keeps turning into ZOMG I ♥ FFXII. Which is not wrong, but it's not like I haven't played the others. (Talking of which, how much do I love the Crystal Chronicles games? THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS MUCH).

ETA: ~ Also I am plotting to start on clearing myself out some studio space. It will be smaaaaaaaaaall studio, but it will be mine. I am quite excited about this. If I figure it out correctly, I can even make the moving in coincide with when I have a week off work! Hopefully I will manage to sort it, because I've had my heart set on that idea for a few years now. More details when I get closer to sorting it. [/eta]

I know! I am very excited about it, and I only really plotted how I was going to sort it out today. It's not a massive space, but some space is better than none :D

When I see those memes they usually have 20 to 30 questions and I already get sweat drops when trying to answer memes with just 3...

Well, not to scare you, but this has something ridiculous like 45. It's supposed to be done one question a day, but I can't be bothered (too much like hard work), so I just keep adding to it when I can actually think of an answer, heh.

But I know what you mean. That's why I haven't done the Persona one yet. I just don't know enough answers!

45! Oh. Well I think doing it when you have the time is the more sensible approach, unless you're really good about planning your day and being strict with tasks, which I am not. I'd be like "Okay this Sunday it's the three questions I missed this week" and then suddenly it's "Whoops, time flies, how come I missed 20 questions?" and then I'd feel too overwhelmed and stop doing it altogether.

You know, there's this intro thread over at [community profile] megaten, but I feel awkward going there because I've only played three of the games so far (and finished none yet) and it makes me feel like the biggest n00b ever. Should I get over this?

It is kind of ridiculous...but I like questions, heh. But yeah, your reasoning is exactly why I'm doing it in one lump.

I just took a look at that thread. I think it's also a little off putting because no-one's commented on it for over a year. Man, I feel n00btastic, too - because really I haven't played that much.

P3 and 4 are very similar, really, but not so much that it feels like you're playing the same game - so I tend to lump them in together - and, of course, DDS may come in two parts, but it's only one game (allegedly) and I've played five minutes of Nocturne. So really I'd say you're doing better than me (also you've played Raidou and I am jealous!) Also don't feel bad about having not finished any of them, because Megaten games are HARD (I definitely fluked both the ones I've managed to beat).

I think you're doing fine, to be honest. (And bear in mind, over half those games on that poll aren't available in the US, let alone Europe. So. I'm not quite sure where I was going with that point).

See? I didn't even know that. I mean, I had heard about two games or so that couldn't be released outside of Japan, but then again I can't even remember which ones. My knowledge is really quite limited.

What bugs me is that not all of the games I'm interested in are playable on the PS2 - it's the only console I own and I am not really willing to spend the money for, say, a PS3 or PSP unless those get significantly cheaper. (My sister already got herself a PlayStation Portable! *envy* I am so tempted but I am also very attached to the idea of having a big screen to watch games on...) Besides, my reasoning is that I don't even have a fraction of the games I'd like to own for the PS2, so it's too early for another console.

I just checked eBay.de where I got my copy of RKvsTSA and I was a bit shocked to see that the available auctions had shrunk from around twenty to only three. Whoa. And the as-new copy costs almost 50 Euros. I get the feeling that if I really want to go through with collecting as many of the games as possible, I'm gonna help make ATLUS very rich. -__-

Thanks for giving me a reality check btw. So it's only overwhelming because they listed everything they could in that poll. Good to know.

Well, anything you want to know, just ask. I can't promise I can answer, but I can try :)

Oh god, I know! I'm annoyed that Strange Journey is on the DS, even though I own one. And if you want to play any of the older games, you may need an emulator, and that's not everyone's cup of tea (and I'll do it, but I'm not a massive fan).

You and me are both going to make Atlus rich *g* Seriously. I can't believe how much the second Raidou game costs! (I first saw it on Amazon for...something like £75? (sorry, I don't know how much that is in Euros) The price hasn't come down since as far as I know). I don't think the first one is priced much better.

No worries! When you see the full list like that, it is kind of "Whoa, whut?!"
