I am currently reading a Drakengard LP and am so very glad I'm not the one playing it.

(I wouldn't be reading it at all, but that Nier is set in an AU based off - of all things - the joke ending from Drakengard. And I want to understand the worlds/ideas/whatnot a bit better).

Is it the one by The Dark Id? It's amazing. XD I even tried explaining the plot to a friend the other week thanks to it and responded to her increasing horror with a cheery "Drakengard!" :D

Yup! He tweeted links to all three that he did about a week before Nier: Automata came out, and a friend rt'd them, otherwise I never really would've thought about looking for them. Anyway, decided it was high time to give them a look see and jeeeeeez. I salute him for being able to get through the thing.

Me either. I considered buying it at one point but oh god I'm so glad I didn't.

Same here! I distinctly remember seeing it on the shelf not long after it came out and walking away. Best decision EVER.
