art post cross post

New iconnnn~~~

Yet another crosspost, still failing horrifically at doing these in a timely manner. This post contains a moving gif of an animation I did. Also warn for potential eyeburn because of bad colour choices.

Doodled an elf who looks nothing like my Elven Inquisitor, because he wasn't meant to.

I had a proper undercut for once! Er, until it grew out. I had to enlist the help of a friend with clippers, though.

J in hieroglyphs.

More hieroglyphs. I was messing about with an idea I didn't really follow through with.

Work in progress - or it was at the time - it's since finished. This is for an overambitious project of DOOM™

I drew a picture, and it looked like it should be animated, so that's what I did. This is the first animation I've done in ten years, and I'm really pleased with it (I'm actually thinking about making it better, like giving him a blink cycle and everything, but it's just an idea I'm entertaining at the moment, rather than actually doing it).

Another work in progress, since finished. I need to take a picture of the finished thing, actually.

A really old (2010) fanart of Heat from Digital Devil Saga that I never posted but still sort of like.

Design I did for some Redbubble stuff. I might do a traditional version of it at some point (which will have waaaay less saturated colours, I promise).

Pastel digital version of a pic I did for a lesson at college one time. I prefer this version although, again, I might do a non-digital version.

This is Mara, who you will be seeing more of, because reasons. Anyway, this picture shows how I feel about some stuff a lot of the time, which is why I posted it.

For some reason, that drawing of Mara makes me think of something I've seen elsewhere, though I can't figure out where. Something in the style, I think. I definitely like it!

Also, I love the larger embroidery project! :D Which reminds me that I really ought to be working more on mine... (innocent whistles*

I'm currently working on an embroidered version of this stained glass image. It doesn't have the same depth and colour fluctuation as the stained glass does, but it's a fun experiment and I like how it's turning out.
