i don't like your girlfriend
I decided to give myself a week off work this week. So I've been drawing, and my face has been much like Tatsuya's in this icon. Because generally it's been unsatisfying (even if it technically "works"), and that makes me sad and mad.
HOWEVER! I did some pixels with a few colours yesterday, and it came out ok???? (And I doodled what I think Adam from the Raven Cycle books looks like, and that was mostly OK too. I drew Blue as well, but I didn't manage to get her looks down as easily).
~
I bought clothes I needed, and a t-shirt I didn't! I also bought four notebooks with plain pages and nice paper to use as sketchbooks! Which I also didn't need!

Music meme!
(all the questions here)
06: A song that is a cover
No More "I Love You"s by Annie Lennox - I don't know if I originally knew this was a cover, but I found it out recently. I will have to check out the original one now, won't I?
(I bet you thought I was going to post the PSB version of Always on My Mind, right? ;) )
07: A song you hate
Don't Cha? by The Pussycat Dolls - since this is on an advert at the moment. I fucking hate this song. I really don't often say that about songs. I dislike some songs - I'd like to forget that Gangnam Style exists, for example - but I don't often outright hate them as much as this one.
08: A song that's a guilty pleasure
Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne - I dunno, it's like audio crack.
09: A song that makes you want to kick some ass
Dragon Age Inquisition Main Theme (Trevor Morris)
Pacific Rim Main Theme (Ramin Djawadi) - this makes me want to swing poi - it just has that kind of rhythm to it. Which is aside from its making me want to kick arse.
Halo Main Theme (Martin O'Donnell & Michael Salvatori) - you might also want to check The Complete Warthog Run from Halo 3 if you liked this :D (it's like the main theme on STEROIDS).
CHOOSING IS HARD.
10: A song that makes you feel empowered
The Bridge of Khazad-Dum (Howard Shore) - I know it sounds daft, but hearing this literally makes me feel like I can take on ANYTHING (except maybe a Balrog). And aside from sounding epic, it's got the Fellowship leitmotif here and there in it, and I love that.
Just don't ask me what I think the Maori choir are singing, because my answer isn't the One Ring Verse.
