I like clothing that says stuff down the arms. I like it more than I like clothing that says stuff across your chest (added bonus: arm writing avoids the need for people to stare at your chest and make you feel uncomfortable*). I think I prefer arms because I actually like mine, I've always been proud of them, and I have a thing about shoulders anyway.
I am actually, seriously, thinking about adapting a thing so I can have arms that say "nerd" or "geek" or something like that (I'm leaning towards nerd at the moment, just because I like the sound of the word) (also by "a thing", I have no idea what I actually mean at the moment; I'm not in the mood, nor do I have the yarn, for another a jumper just yet, so possibly armwarmers, but IDK).
In some ways, it kind of scares me, because I've not charted much in my life (I did some zodiac symbols to crochet, but haven't messed with them in over a year, and I did an N7 for beading, but that's pretty much it). Charting for knitting seems like some magic skill I don't possess, and yet I find myself wanting to do it (because what's the best way to customise something, amirite?) That's kind of stupid because, at the end of the day, it's exactly the same as crochet charting and really I don't know what I'm worried about.
So there. That's a thing. I can't promise there'll be any results any time soon, because I'm working on a pile of patterns I looked at and went, "Oooh" when I saw them (plus any commission work that may arise), but really I just kind of wanted to throw this out there because I've been thinking about it a lot over the last day or so. And I wanted to share!

*Disclaimer: I know not everyone feels this way, but I have body image issues out the wazoo, and a few of them are centred around that particular part of my body. So just ignore that if it doesn't apply to you.
