Happy New Year, guys c:
2012 was a year, that's for sure. I can't really think of a way to describe it, and I'm not sure how it went, to be honest.
Things I did, though:
~ opened an online shop
~ learnt to knit properly!
~ played Dragon Age and its variants
~ held down a job for more than a year (this is some serious shit, actually)
I hope 2013 will be good, if not better. To that end, I have some resolutions:
~ clean my teeth every day (seriously)
~ take my magnesium and folic acid every night (because I've been ridiculously lax about it, and I'm not doing myself any favours)
~ get up at a sensible hour of the day (i.e. well before noon, unless on holiday)
~ knocking my insomnia on the head would be nice but...well, we'll see
~ learn to knit fair isle patterning
~ update my tumblr more often (at least twice a week, if not more often; also learn to use the queue function, even if it doesn't work the way I want it to. Which it doesn't)
~ put time aside to draw and paint, because these are viable ways to earn money as well as crochet/knitting, and I need my brain to know that
~ sell stuff via my shop (which is now open again and will have new things in it soon!)
Yeah, they're not amazing, but I've been told that "make art" is not a resolution (PFFT), and I can't vow to give up smoking because, um, I've done that (and I actually have absolutely NO desire to start again, which will come as a relief to some of you, no doubt).
