Ursula Vernon has written a version of Bluebeard, which you can find here.
I have never read or been told the story of Bluebeard, but I'm familiar with the basics, and I enjoyed it.

I got my new phone. The guy in the shop boggled at me that I was going from a Samsung to a Blackberry, but frankly it's none of his business. He also offered to help me set up my phone no less than three times. I understand that some people may have trouble with that, but for me, messing about with my new phone is one of the things I enjoy most.
I still need toset up a Blackberry ID (just about to do that), and load some music on it (8Gb of internal memory! Although I will either delete what's on the memory card in the Samsung (my photos), or buy a new card (it's a 4Gb I've got now, which is significantly bigger than I thought. Whatever. I can up it to 32Gb if I reeeeeally want to)).
I also got given two free SIM cards with £5 of credit on each for no apparent reason. Hrrr. I guess I could use them if I need to ring somewhere ridiculous? *shrugs*
And, not relatedly AT ALL, I bought a tiny sketchbook (well, it's A5, but that is small to me), mainly because it's bound on the side (and I had a sudden urge to collage all over the cover). And I got a good haul of things on the flea market (a huge embroidery hoop for £1.25 and the sucker must be a good foot across, as well as sewing and embroidery threads. All in, it came to less than a fiver).
I also got some cellophane envelopes for putting cards in (not that I've made any cards yet, but I'm on it), and also some magnetic strip, so I can make fridge magnets \o/
There was other stuff, but I can't remember it, and you probably don't want to hear it.
(I also checked out Game for a copy of ME3, but at £40 (bar 1p!) it can wait till it's a heck of a lot cheaper and I maybe have some more surprise cash).
And now I'm tired, so I'm going to bed.
