scary phone is scary

Well, I am now the proud owner of my very first smartphone. Dude, it's scary! I don't know what it does (although it doesn't do what I want it to, but I've only been playing with it for four hours, although it's been sitting in the house since midday. So it probably does more than I think, right?)

So, dear flist, I've got a proposition for you! Recommend me some good free stuff that works on Android, please (I think I'm running 2.1 or something? IDK).

As for what good stuff is...well, I'm leaving that to you.

I already have an ebook reader preinstalled, although I can't actually see using it because I have much hatred of ebooks (don't even ask), and can't envisage wanting to read stuff on it. I never wanted to read stuff on my DS, either. I also already have an app for making notes (genius! I always knew I wanted something like that when I fell in love with the virtual post-its on bloody Vista), and there's some kind of Office compatible software that (I hope), unlike my Nokia, actually lets me create documents. Like I say, I've had the phone for four hours; haven't had a lot of time to mess with it properly.

(That said, my wallpaper is now the obligatory picture of my cat. I will be changing it as soon as I get to transferring stuff across from my PC).

Also is there an app like Colors! around? Not sayin' I'll ever use it, but it'd be nice to know I had it.

I will probably get the Twitter app at some point, although I'm trying not to look through the Android Market and go, "I'll have that! And that!" and never use it ever again. I know that will happen. I am like that with Stuff™ in general.
