Playing Echo Bazaar. Not sure what to make of it yet (certainly interesting). Pleased that the dev team is British. Also pleased that they got a consult from Bioware.

I can't decide whether to link it to my Twitter account or not (possibly not, since I'm using it for work and there's enough stuff about my cat and how bad I am at video games, sooooo....*)

I'm going to wait a while before giving my ID out, though, because I want to fiddle with it a bit more, and get the hang of it before I start on stories with other people (which is a totally cool! Like a cross between RP'ing and MMO'ing? ;) Except I don't play MMOs, you know. Don't see the point).

*That said, I beat Hectoncheir first time through, which has never happened before (I actually think he's the worst Eidolon to beat), and now I am at Sulyya, getting beaten up by lizards. WONDERFUL.

Day off has been nice, by the way. Although I accidentally did two hours of work. Tomorrow I'm going to do a couple of sketches that have been niggling my brain since last night (one I did last night - now it needs transferring/painting/whatever the hell it needs. The other one I need to draw out properly. At the moment it looks like dross).

Also there will be legit yarn buying tomorrow, subsidised by my mum! \o/

I just checked with a veteran player and, well, you can't really interact with other players except for some activities that are available in your lodgings (e.g. invite them for a game of chess which will give certain benefits). You also get a mini storylet when you invite someone to create their EB account.
Then there's an option via Opportunity Cards to "share" a story beginning with someone else so that you can both embark on the mission, but you will play separately. Those cards are rare though.

Dang, that's annoying. I'd noticed that you could invite another player to join you (obviously), but I didn't realise it was for such a little proportion. Huh. I'm kind of annoyed now.

But anyway! The point is that I'm playing and we can swap details about it and so on c:
