where we eat ham and jam and spam a lot

Being able to run around Illium like a tool is making up for not being able to run around (as much of) the Citadel. Which is one of the things I dislike intensely about ME2. Also I take what I said about Thane back - still not keen on looking at him at all, but dang, I could listen to him talk for some time.

Also, after having squinted at the screen for a good ten hours, I finally discovered the brightness setting. Now I can see where I'm going.

Also also: fuck that Praetorian on Horizon. Sonofabitch is eeeeeeeeeeevil!

Oh but: I love the way Mordin talks. Even when he doesn't want to talk to you, his responses are hilarious (I've heard the one about scale itch and then, today, I got, "Found reason Collectors want humans. But humans only have one heart, krogans two. Never mind. Scratch that idea, start again").

OH AND: Bioware are going to release DLC to make the ending of ME3 more acceptable to the fans? Oh for fuck's sake. You should've let 'em stew in their own juices.

On the other hand: I do like that Shepard gets huggy (female Shep does, anyway), even if it is only with Kaidan and Liara. I honestly thought she'd hug Garrus, but apparently not (but Garrus? Fuck you and your calibrations) And I've seen the poetry spouting krogan. He is SO adorable.

(I promise I can talk about things other than Mass Effect. Honest! Sometimes I even talk about stuff that isn't video games!)

From stuff they said immediately post-release when people first started whining, I gather this is more explanatory than change-ahoy, of which I am more approving, but yes in general no fans do not get to dictate the ending of the game GTFO.

Mordiiiiiiiiin.
