Keyworded: is that right?

This phrase sticks in my head. All. The. Damn. Time. It is a quote from Labyrinth - from the puzzle doors (where one door leads to the castle and the other one leads to bah bah boom! Certain Death). They're asking each other if Sarah chose correctly, and this is what follows. I don't get that puzzle either, and frankly, it applies to a lot in my life.

I knew of this one looong before I ever played FFVII. Someone I knew on a BBS had it as his sig quote, complete with little pixelated Sephiroth. Of course, it's totally awesome in game because he more or less shoves Cloud out of the way, and is all, "See ya, sucker!"

(See, this is the version of Seph I like! Where he's basically a dick and not nice to Cloud because he can be, and he's manipulative, and so on. Not the "OMG, poor little Seph!" we get in Crisis Core *plays small violin*)


Keyworded: flying circus

Took a literal quote from Hellblazer for this one. Because it is so very apt for describing John's life (and he's the one that says it). Of course it's a riff on Monty Python('s Flying Circus), so that makes me doubly amused when I look at it. Well, you know what they say about small minds.

I have no idea what comic this comes from. All I know is that it makes me laugh. Also it's one of the two here that I didn't make; jillicons made it, and I nabbed it from a bunch of her comic icons.

Also I still do that whole "stroking a fake goatee" thing even though I'm totally not fifteen any more, and the kids these days don't do that.

This comes from a Let's Play of Resident Evil: Code Veronica by The Dark ID. He was poking fun at the graphics (since the game's like, a decade old now), and the fact that Umbrella likes to breed shit in tubes. It's my generic gaming icon because...it turned out I needed one.

Made by luzzu because Fran is awesome. And yeah, she's a straight up example of fetish fuel or whatever, but it works. Because yeah, she's a six foot tall walking rabbit in high heels (I wish I were making that up), but the guys love her, and the girls are gay for her. I totally never would've - in a MILLION years - have said I'd fall for her as hard as I did, but I totally did. Because she's that awesome (shame the actual gameplay doesn't play to that*, but I suppose you can't have everything, and I figure she'd be a bit of a game breaker if she were that neat while she's a player character**).

*But that's a whole other post.

It has been raining biblically here for the last week or so. I got absolutely drenched on the way to work this morning. My shoes - my WATERPROOF shoes - were not dry until it was almost time to go home.

(I knew there was a reason I wanted to get some boots at the weekend. Three inch heels and at least my feet wouldn't get fucking wet then).
