Just also wanted to say that I pretty much haven't granted anyone access because not a lot on here is locked - pretty much what you see is what you get. BUT if you would like me to grant access, go ahead and say.
What I do lock is: stuff I feel worried about posting in public (bitching about people I know, but also original writing and, more rarely, poetry). I also occasionally lock stuff dealing with my brain and its various malfunctions, and also crap my body pulls on me but. I can't even remember the last time I made a locked post. So.
Just thought I'd put that out there.

Other than that, good Xmas, apart from my uterus pulling its usual shit. THANKS. (Although thank the gods for painkillers. I mean, seriously, if NSAIDS hadn't been invented, I would probably be dying right now).
I got some epically cool presents, which include a mammoth 240 page blank book I shall use as a sketchbook, a book which claims to be able to teach me how to read and write Japanese (unlikely; well the writing bit almost certainly), and a scarab the size of my fist.
Haven't had my presents from my bro and not sister in law yet, as they are visiting either tomorrow or the day after (she had to work today, sadly).

My FFXIII replay is going sloooooowly - stopped at Gapra Whitewood at the moment. Although it's reeeeeeeally interesting to play it now I've been right the way through. There's so much to notice and pick up on that make a lot more sense now. I'm also building everyone up "properly". By which I mean, I am dumping CP in their preferred jobs first (i.e. the ones they're best at).
But please, Squeenix, please tell me why Sazh starts as a Ravager? He's rubbish at it (although...I guess, he needs an offensive role, and he's not as rubbish at that as he is at, say, being a Sentinel? IDEK). LOL, I guess I answered my own question there.
I'mma shut up now, I'm rambling.

Those sound like really interesting gifts, the scarab especially. What is it made out of? I keep picturing the ones from the Mummy lol.

I think it's made from some kind of porcelain - I'll have to take a photo - I was kind of expecting it to be carved stone like my tiny ones, so it was an interesting surprise.
