i've got to make my decision
I AM READING A BOOK, Y'ALL! AN ACTUAL FICTION BOOK!
(I stg this is how I've reacted the last who knows how many times I've read a book, but my concentration levels have been so shot in recent years, that this is basically how I feel all the time now).
Anyway, it's a book called The Split, by Sharon Bolton, who is an author my mum used to like. This is the first book I've read by her. It's okay? It's readable, which is what you want. I picked it up from work about a week or so ago because I recognised the author's name, and the plot sounded kind of intriguing (but in an extremely cheesy way, if you go off the synopsis on the back). So I thought why the heck not?
And here we are. I am less than 100 pages in but, like I say, it's okay and I do want to know exactly what is going on with the characters. Although given some of the themes of the story, I do wonder how they will be handled, but I haven't got far enough to know yet.

In other news, I am still working away at P5. Now in October, and I have maxed the Sun, Temperance, and Priestess links, which is something I didn't do before!
I'm honestly amazed I haven't burnt out on it yet, but it's still interesting replaying and seeing how everything comes together. It's very satisfying.
It's also got me drawing something that isn't a pattern! I had to fuse a Neko Shogun for part of the Strength link, and so I ended up using him in battle and man, I love that cat! He blocks light skills and resists dark ones, so he's super useful! I have stopped using him as much now, but for a time he was p awesome! So I started drawing a picture of him. I haven't finished it yet, because I've been at work, but I feel like it's turning out okay!
I don't think I mentioned it, but I am deffo going to play the Nocturne remaster after this. I'm still in a strong SMT mood, as I mentioned a bit back, so why the heck not, right?

I don't know what else to say, so I shall end this entry here!

*ducks*
I'm glad you're enjoying your book! I suddenly started reading again (I suspect the vacation had something to do with resetting my brain enough to actually handle words) and it's so lovely.

Isn't it! I have a few beefs with the plot but it was engaging enough and oh wow, that was refreshing.

Congrats! This is how I react when I read books these days, because I still find it hard to sit down and read. Normally once I start I'm good for a few chapters, but finding the oomph to start is really hard. I hope you enjoy the book!

THIS. Like. I have SO MANY books I want to read, but starting them? Whole other ball game. Although I started this one because I knew I would be bored at work, so maybe that's the trick for me?
I did enjoy it! The plot was a bit wonky, but it was otherwise okay!
